26 private rooms with independent-controlled air conditioning and either private or shared baths. A living room and a sunroom on each of the two floors, a library, and elevators between floors. All utilities are included; cable TV and personal phone service are optional and resident-paid.
A Registered Nurse is on staff to help residents monitor medications and watch for health-related concerns including diabetes, illness, and wound care. Staff provide 24-hour supervision, and every room has an Emergency In-House Call Box. The building uses a 24-hour video surveillance monitoring system.
Three well-balanced, home-cooked meals are served family-style each day in our dining room. We accommodate special diets, and snacks are available every evening.
Housekeeping and linen service are included. A laundry facility is also available on site for residents who'd like to do their own — keeping that bit of independence intact.
Activities include church services and Bible study, physical fitness, pet visitation, musical presentations, games, crafts, and visits from local community organizations.
A courtesy vehicle is available to transport residents to medical appointments and outings as needed. Please note: the vehicle is not handicapped-accessible.
We arrange visits from outside providers at the retirement home — including physical, occupational, and speech therapy; hospice services; and laboratory services — so residents don't have to leave home for them.
Hearthstone offers short respite stays for families who need a break — vacations, recovery time, or simply rest — and hospice stays for families who can no longer manage end-of-life care at home alone. Call to talk through availability and what kind of stay would fit.
